FILTER MEDIA SPECIFICATIONS
Multi Medium Filters (MMF)
Filtration of suspended particles and contaminants to address the aesthetic water problems and impurities such as the taste, odour, and colour.
Designed for reducing suspended particulate down to 5 microns in size and achieve a turbidity of 3NTU or less.
Dual Medium Filters (DF)
Design to addresses the water problems and impurities within closed loop water system and/or specific water problems such as iron and manganese within any open water system.
Single Media Filters (SF)
Addresses the water problems and impurities within closed loop water system and/or specific water problems such as iron and manganese within any open water system.
Carbon Filters (GAC)
Addresses the chlorine, organic chemicals, odour and tastes water problems.
Softener Filters (SOFTIX)
Addresses the water hardness cause by calcium and magnesium.
Note: i. Depending on the water problems and water requirements, a wide selection of filter medium are used –Advanced Microglass FM, activated carbon, anthracite, birm, manganese greensand, manganese zeolite, filox, zeolite , ion exchange resin etc.
